Welcome to our hospital! Like our patients, our staff comes from all around the globe. We are one of the few hospitals in Germany that has established a team of integration professionals. Upon your arrival in our beautiful town of Straubing, on the banks of the Danube, we will provide you with exactly the support you need to focus on your new start at our hospital, St. Elisabeth.

We are your contact for organizing your accommodation and will guide you through your workplace and orientation. You can contact us with any problems, and we will offer assistance whenever possible. We will also accompany you to appointments with local authorities and help you with paperwork. We are here not only to take good care of you but also to assist you in case of family reunification.

You are always welcome to visit our office, and we are happy to have you stop by to simply chat or share a cup of coffee.

As a result of our efforts, many motivated colleagues from abroad are already well settled and satisfied in our hospital.

Claudia Zink stellt vor

Unser Integrations-Team unterstützt internationale Pflegekräfte bei Anerkennung, Sprache und Eingewöhnung. Sie helfen bei Behördengängen, Wohnungssuche und Problemen im Arbeitsalltag. 145 Fachkräfte wurden bereits rekrutiert, 90 haben die Anerkennung abgeschlossen. Jedes Jahr starten rund 30 neue Pflegekräfte. Unser Klinikum fördert die Zusammenarbeit von fast 50 Nationalitäten. Es ist eines der wenigen in Deutschland mit einem eigenen Integrations-Team, das die Zusammenarbeit von fast 50 Nationalitäten fördert.

Integration gegen Pflegenotstand

Niederbayern TV zeigt, wie unser Klinikum dem Pflegenotstand begegnet – mit gezielter Integration internationaler Pflegekräfte. Eine eigene Abteilung unterstützt bei Anerkennung, Sprache und sozialer Eingliederung. Im Beitrag kommen verschiedene Mitarbeitende zu Wort, die Einblicke in ihre Erfahrungen und die gelebte Integration geben.
